Default Any rock chips on side view mirrors???

I'm planning to get 3M PPF installed on my Z when it comes. Most kits cover the side view mirrors. I'd prefer to cover as little as possible....
So, my question to those who do not have PPF on the mirrors - do you have any rock chips on them?
Thanks,
Mika

Talking Leather and Carbon Fiber Mirror Bras

For those of you guys that go on road trips we will have mirror bras and full front bras for the 350Z in about 3-4 weeks.

I must say the mirror bras are awesome because they fit and look like the mirrors are painted black. I'll post some pictures when I get them

Get the 3M on the side view mirrors, you can tell it is there.

I just had the 3m Clear Bra installed on my Super Black Track and you have to really look to see it is there. Now I did not do the hood , but i did do the mirrors ,headlights, front bumper and a small piece around the door handles....looks GREAT.
Thanks HOT SPOT TINTING. They also did my 20% tint and 20% sunshade.....Another fine job. Talk to Bridgette

Not the hood?? That is the worst part because it is metal and doesn't give, if a rock hits it, it will chip and the primer on a black car will stick out badly, go back and put it on the hood quick. The parts you covered are plastic and give a little so don't chip as easily plus they are not as visible as the hood chips will be.

The first reason I did not do the hood is that the 3m would be so visible. The other reason is that i have registered a complaint with NNA Consumers Affairs about the embarrsing amount of Orange Peel. Even though it only goes up the hood about six inches, i would have to replace the 3M after they fixed the Orange Peel. BTW the whole car has Orange Peel except for the roof, most of the hood, rear bumper, hatch and the parts i covered with the 3m already.
