how hard to keep clean?
what would u say is the first three hardest colors to keep clean in the 350z line up, im guessing black first but then all the others im not so sure of because i have never actually had any other car besides black..
I had a black car, now I have Silverstone and it is much easier to keep clean. This is better for me now since I live in a condo in an urban area and can't wash it as often as I did when I had my old car. I was living in my parent's house then (in the suburbs).
I don't find my Superblack to be that much harder to keep clean. It has a good coat of wax, and if it is a little bit dirty I can sponge of with a microfiber sponge and water, and then dry with a microfiber towel. A california duster comes in handy. If you keep it waxed it is easier to keep it clean. Mine SHINES!!!!

My first choice was red, but there was only 1 roadster in all of Tampa Bay that Sunday. I know because I drove to all 5 dealers in the area, and the only one that had a 6MT roadster had it in Super Black.
It grew on me FAST.

Hand Wash with 10 gallons of bottled water (in garage).
Then Blow Dry with back pack leaf blower (fan in garage).
Polish with "Perfect Detail" spray polish w/micro fiber cloths.
(spray on, spread evenly with 1 cloth, gloss shine w/2nd cloth)

Believe one of our kids uses it (am a 49 years young Z owner).
We also have a house water softner installed, but we still get water spots on our cars when I use the hose to wash. Therefore, I prefer my way with the Z - 100% sure - no water spots - and it sparkles! (after the waxing of course). Luv my Z!
Good call netman.
I wanna try that. I've only water washed the car twice. I have this spray on car wash stuff that wipes off nice and sparkly. Then I wax a few coats with a solid wax. I forgot the name. I go real slow and listen to music, so it takes me a solid 4 hours to do a complete inside / outside detail of my car, including tire waxing and rim cleaning and all.

I loved my old black GTI when it was cleaned and waxed. But the florida rain and HOT,HOT sun aren't the best weather conditions for a black car. Now with my silverstone, it's just fantastic. Unfortunatley, I can't park in the garage anymore because my dad parks his new 745Li in there. Dang it!
