I think there is something with the 04.5's and air intake mods... There were some people who came in with newer Z's that couldnt get their ECU re-tuned because of new programming... I dunno... but I have only heard of things like this on newer 04's :-/

 

Well I had the problem about 50% of time only in 5th or 6th gear. I just did the reset the ECU, Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning, Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning, and Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning) using the method on Thechnosquare. I'm crossing my fingers. I'm at work right now so I couldn't take it out for a test drive. I'll post the results after about a month of driving.

 

The stock airbox is a cold air intake and works great! Just sell the popcharger and put the stock stuff back in with a drop in filter.

 

had mine on for about a month now and no problems and I didnt need to reset anything

 

I've driven my Z for nearly 11,000 miles with pop charger installed just after I purchased the car and have not experienced any type of stalling.
