If you don't really care for the few options that the touring has then go with new enth. And there is nothing like having a new car rather than use one.

My Opinion is Get The New One!!

You'll know the history, and it will be YOUR car, not somebody elses. You don't know if it was abused or not. You'll have full warranty. Get The New One!!

I got the base model because I knew I was going to mod the car on my own terms (I've already changed the stock suspension anyway). Cost me about $10,000 less than the touring, AND I have part of the Nismo package, along with HID's (aftermarket) which are brighter than the stock HID's. You just need to ask yourself if you plan on mofidying the car, or just enjoying it as it is.

Default My take

I think there are tons of threads on this same topic. You'll see the same posts every time. Most people recommend buying new, if that's what you're comfortable with do it.

But I've yet to see anyone who has bought a used Z where any problems with the vehicle could be attributed to abuse, etc. Plus I really think it is difficult to abuse these cars...almost all you could do is wear the clutch and brake pads a little. A low mileage car is probably not gonna give you any trouble.

If you know what to look for and how to evaluate a car, a used car offers better value and equivalent peace of mind. You still have a warranty, and I've seen very few owners who actually do abuse sports cars. This is coming from a guy whose family business was new vehicle sales/service. :-)

As for the base vs touring, that is totally personal opinion. I went touring because I refuse to own a car without power seats. But there are guys who believe that their Zs are Lotuses, and should be pared of every pound, regardless of loss of comfort. I admire them but don't share their dedication. I like my leather, esp when it's warming my a$$ ;-)
