I'm in Mira Mesa. You should come out to the weekly gtg's we have every tuesday. It's not too far from you. We meet up every tuesday @ 7pm @ Kmart p'lot on Clairemont Mesa blvd, then from there we head over to Fusion Cafe to meet up w/ other cars(sometimes we do our own thing ie. hooters, fuddruckers, etc.). On average there is between 7-12 Z/G's there. Come on out tonite if you have a chance.

Went to go see my man at the dealership today regarding my impending '05 roadster. He showed me the official info from Nissan Canada dated August 26, 2004. There are no changes other than the tire pressure monitor: same hp, same wheel and tire sizes, same pricing for all models! I fear that any significant changes will likely be mid year. He was aware of the G35 6sp upgrade to 295hp but obtained his info from nissannews.com, not officially from Infiniti. Not the best of news, hopefully we'll be proven wrong...

Thanks for the update, Roadsterman. Sounds like no significant improvements in the '05s. In related news, I saw this post on 350zmotoring.com:

2005 Changes

As usual, take it with an internet grain of salt.

Default ordered 2005ZR on 7/7/04

My 2005 ZRT was ordered on 7/7/04 and I knew at that time about the E-33 yellow and had the option to order it.
I went with PPW, Blue top, Frost leather (Loaded). The Navi is only available on the Touring now.

I hope by now they have fixed the tire feathering issue.

The Navi has been improved by adding a faster prossesor?
The ext. mirror surfaces have been changed to offer better visibility. A seat back latch has been added. Still has Bose

I'll be happy if they just improved upon all the cons.
After Two years of production the car should be tight...
What more can I say. I'm looking forward to the winter months. Nov. thru May is awsome "Z" weather hear in SW, Florida.
We need that after "Charley".
Now we have to worry about "Fran".
My dealer is Harbor Nissan in Charlotte Harbor. They were nearly wiped off the map. They are rebuilding though...
They have a sister store in Naples where I think I'll be taking delivery of my Z.
