Default 2005 350z

Since recently Nissan/Infiniti released pictures of the 2005 G35 sedan and coupe. Does anyone know what the plan is for the 2005 350z or any pics of it?

I had the same question but I have heard that since it is the 35th Anniversary of the Z it might explain the delay

Confirmed from Nissan that there is NOT going to be a 35th Anniversary edition 350Z, they say they do not have any plans to produce a 350Z anniversary edition in the near future. So the rumors can stop here. I did not ask about yellow but a lot of "people in the know" have seen the paint code E33 for the Z, which is the same color as the Spec V's yellow.

Why would there not be a 35th anniversary edition?

It seems very peculiar that theres tons of info on the C6 Vette, 05 Mustang, 05 Porsche 997, and a host of others. But, there isnt even a tinkle bit on the 05 Z. Also perplexing is the G35 coupe gets a bump for the 6MT to 290 something horsepower, but nothing for the Z. Hmmmmmmm, Iwould be pissed to get a 350Z which is supposed to be the icon with less HP than the G35. If the only thing theyre doing thats significant is adding a freakin color then that would be a shame. I personally think there will be a small bump in HP to atleast match what the G35 6MT gets.

Nissan never said anything in the email to me about an hp raise. Although, they did say 'no plans in the near future', so maybe late 2005's will get it, or early 2006's.

My question is where everyone is getting their info.

Fortunately NNA is down the street.

don't mean to stir up speculation or anything, but I was going through information in the 2005 Nissan Model Guide, and I saw a few minor changes for 2005, information as of 07/23/04:

- new color - yellow (E33-G)
- no sign of Liquid Aluminum as color
- Enth & Perf gets auto dimming rear mirror
- Perf gets 18" CAST aluminum wheels, not sure what that means
- 5AT w/ Manual mode gets a new feature called "Downshift Rev Matching" (i don't know what this is)
- Track gets "TBD Horsepower", and not available for sale until 12/04.
