Yah what a day today John. My heart dropped as 350Now called Tony it was like a total shock. We thought it was a joke but as we went to the scene we relized this in fact was real. I hope to see you in a Z and glad no one was hurt. I emailed sharif and he too was shocked as I emailed him pics. If indeed this was mechanical failure thank god it was on surface streets rather on the highway. We may have to wait if it was a mechanical failure or what but I know everything will be fine and all the SoCal and 3fiveZeroZ crew is by your side. I speak for many that will discover the bad news......

Wow.....I gather from the other thread that you let a prospective Z owner take your car out for a drive "escorted" buy a friend/fellow club-member.

First, WOW you are a trusting fellow. I'm far too cautious to do something like that. Much credit to you for being willing to do this.

Second, I sincerely hope that the young driver behind the wheel had insurance or is willing to take responsibility for this. Aside from getting someone hurt or killed, this is about the biggest screw-up you can make in a car...crashing someone else's.

I'm really glad that everyone walked away and that all of the legalitites that are surely to come work out to a happy ending.

Good luck.

Hey John this is Adrian from ISD. John is the only guy I know that I would label a true Z enthusiast. Seeing those wreck pics of your z really does me sad and angry at the same time. I don't know the details of what happened but I assume the driver was speeding and overestimated his/her abilities and lost control. Im always reluctant to let anyone drive my car. If I give someone my keys, I always fear they will crash or scratch my car. If I say NO...then they label me as stingy and selfish....WTF.
