So I went elsewhere. It's funny I ordered from the dealer that gave you BS, and you ordered from the dealer that gave me BS.
Heh...

Scafremon,
Congratulations on getting your car a full week early. It must have been on the ship that offloaded on 10/13. Hopefully they will do as well on the next 2 ships 'cuz' one of them should be carrying my car.
Doesn't sound like checking the dealer inventory is really worth the effort.

Anyway, Nissan of Orange (Ronny) tried to throw in an additional $2000 the day of delivery, but once they saw the original invoice, they charged me MSRP (actually $200 less than MSRP)

My car is in too! I received a call today, so I'll be picking it up tomorrow.
To importriders : I put my order in with Connell Nissan on 1/26/02. When I was getting information that who put in their orders in Jan were getting confirmations letters in May/June and I wasn't, I inquired it with my rep from Connell. He told be that he wasn't able to put my order in and that he will put it in Oct if not Dec. That means that I wasn't going to get it til Dec or March the latest. I was upset that he didn't even notify me that the order wasn't going to be put in and they also took a big deposit from me. So, I called around and was lucky that San Bernardino had a cancelled order (and a smaller deposit amount) and I was able to get on the list on time for the Nov. Delivery. And it has arrived earlier than expected. So, I would double check with your rep to see if your order has been sent to headquarters.
