Just think if you dropped another $40-50K in a Z.

Well, I owned a TT for 3 years, and I can tell you with all honesty that the Z is a more significant car in every way. It handles better, its more fun, its prettier, its more unique, its has roughly twice the usable power. Its in another league of car. The only reason to buy a TT is if you realy enjoy its looks. The car is made like **** and was constantly at service.
Hope that helps!
I'm enjoying my Z like mad!

Last night in Irvine a black TT circled my car on the jamboree. At each light he gunned it trying to get me to race him, but i only have 700mi on my car so i just watched him take off at each light.

Data on two cars with this setup from European Car Mag April 2001
2000 New Beetle (yeah imagine getting your a$$ handed to you by a beetle)
24V VR6 Twin Turbo 4-motion 7200 rpm redline
On 100 octane 491hp and 537lbs to the WHEELS
On 93 octane 442hp and 484lbs to the wheels
All ran by the stock ecu with custom chip, dynoed with catalytic converters!
2000 Golf RSI 12V VR6 Twin Turbo 4-Motion 7200 rpm redline
On 93 octane 403hp and 381lbs to the wheels
0-60 in 4.2 seconds, 0-120 in 15.9seconds
Also run by the stock ECU with just a chip and all data with catalytic converters in place.
In this case you could buy a New Bettle or a Golf $17,000 send it to them and have them add the 24V kit for $27,000 plus another $7,000 to upgrade to 4-Motion and you would have a spent $51,000 not bad - now if you want it in a TT add another $16,000.
If I had money to throw all over the place I would get one, but since I don't I would rather have the Z - but I think its cool that HPA makes kits like this-
