Talking Yah I also got my first ticket today

This new 350Z is already getting me in trouble. A cop pulled me over for doing 66 in a 45! Anyone know how to get me out of this one?

I don't think I was doing 66 but then again its very easy to get going without knowing it.

He told me he wanted to see one of this cars. But that I was moving to quick for him to see the car. Well he gotta see it alright and give me a nice yellow slip. Gotta love sarcasm...

I just returned the Valentine 1 too!! ARRGH!! I need to get one its a good investment

Congrats, Yuichi. That ticket's a bummer, though.

Yuichi,

It's perfectly legal to go higher than the posted speed limit whenever it's safe to do so. If there are no pedestrians around, it's not a school zone, you're not going through an intersection, and there's only light traffic, take it to court. Did the officer show you his radar gun's display, or offer to at least? If not, you've got a really strong case. And of he doesn't show up, you also get out of it of course.

Huh? I'd like to see the cop's face when you tell him that one. Can you elaborate on that one? Unless you are bleeding and headed to the ER, when is it "perfectly legal" to speed?

Yuichi,

I'll take a look at the ticket. Don't know if I can do anything for ya but I will take a look and see what can be done if anything.

Congrats on getting your Z. Keep us posted on how it's going.

BTW...I wanted to pick your brain on some debadging..so get back to me on that as well.

Have a good one.

Congrats and nice to meet you at Stillen's event!!

Try Ticket Assassin - I've never even visited that site so I cant vouch for it, but I know some guys who have and found all the info they needed to get out of a ticket.

This article explains it. I'd go one step further in my understanding of freedom and the fundamental law of this land to say that if you aren't violating the rights or threating those around you (with dangerous driving, in this case), our government has no right to punish you. Some judges will agree, but not most.
