I can't imagine that it would be permanently classed in SS. The Z clearly belongs with the S2k and Boxster. If those two cars stay in B-stock then the Z should be classed there. But who knows which way the SEB will blow...it may end up in AS with the C4s.

The car hasn't been officially classed yet, so for the local regions just throw it into SS for the time being.

It's not STX eligible because it's a 2-seater.

I drove autox a couple of times here in Columbus, OH with my 350z. It was my first time doing it (in any car) and I didn't do especially well considering what I'm sure the car is capable of. It was A LOT of fun regardless, and I'm sure I'll improve. They placed me in B-stock with my friend's dad's lexus SC430. I beat his *** at least..

Transfering skills from Gran Tourismo 3 to actual driving is more difficult that I anticipated It was a very humbling experience.

Default AS for me

I ran in A stock a few weeks ago. I too had a little more trouble than expected. I am more used to driving my RX-7. The 2 cars are very different.

Although, my poor showing is surely do to driver skill level.

Hey Dan - where'd you do your AutoX? I'm going to give it a shot in the spring (assuming my frickin' car is here by then...) and I was wondering where the events are held in our area.
