the weak point, specially for 1500hp becomes more than just forged pistons and rods ect. its literally fitting enough gas and air into the space to make the power. so then your talking about raising the redline. I dont know how high drag cars set their redline, do they go to a hydrolic lifter system?
thatd probably be a start even if they dont.
beyond that, the RB is a solid iron block, we have an open aluminum block. for the 350Z to take on 4 digit numbers, better ATLEAST go to a solid block, maybe even forged is you still want to turn. $$$$$
itll get there, but no companies dumb enough to put these kinda things right onto the market. eventually someone will come along and get it custom made and pay their R&D for them. market for people looking for 1000hp is pretty slim. the car that could do that would be near undrivable on the streets. turbos would be so huge youd need to push it to get it going under 5000RPM.

680 WHP and 700 WTQ from a stock Power Enterprises Twin Turbo kit, on a mildly modded VQ... she ran stong all day long...
the VQ flows better then the skyline engine
finding the correct balance, as the first team to experiment has been the challange...
1500 HP is possible... wait and see the debut of our VQ Monster at the 2004 SEMA Show in Las Vegas...
