Default Turning off TCS

How do you turn off TCS on the touring model? Does turning off the VDC turn off TCS? This has probably been answered before...

Please don't flame me

You are correct: the VDC button will turn off the TCS on a Touring model. Convenient, huh?

You're also right about it being covered before.

Yeah, don't wory, this isnt as hot a place as zcar. Yeah, bit I have been pleased that the VDC is alot milder than i thought. I have driven a 330ci, and its DSC or whatever kicks in alot.

There is one button to turn off both TCS and VCD -- I really wish they were separate. I don't mind having VDC on all the time, but TCS really sucks: it cuts power drastically at the worst times, like a shift into 2nd or 3rd that would chirp the tires a bit, but instead the car starts to pull and then suddenly pitches you forward as the power cuts, then lurches ahead again as the TCS cuts out. VDC is nice to have almost all the time, but TCS should be reserved for rain (and in some climates - yuck - snow).
