SLK350 vs 350ZR (IMO)
I do not know. I will make the final choice tomorrow. I will drive both cars back to back. I think for the money the Z is a better buy and more fun but the SLK is a car I can take on trips and is more grown up (I am 54).

I am sure no one REALLY cares but I am staying with the 350ZTR. After driving both cars back to back, I still think the 350Z Roadster (with auto) is quicker than the SLK350 (with auto)! I also find the driving postion better on the Z, in the SLK I could not see top of the gauges and could not see traffic lights without looking under the windshield top bar. So now all I have to do is wait for two more month for the car.
I think the SLK is a great looking, well made car that performs well...but the Z is just dead sexy. There's something about those rear flares and the basement seating position that few other cars can top.

I felt more closed in in the SLK. There is not any place to store ANYTHING. The only storage area is the very small glove box. I think one reason Nissan made the seats so low is give the feeling of more head room. I think both cars handle well but the Z just felt more fun. When I get out of the SLK I just don't want it, but when I look at the specs, I keep thinking I should get it as it is more "grown-up". The most important reaction of course is when you are behind the wheel and I think the wins hands down.
