Default Help! 03’ fairlady Z

I just bought a 03’ fairlady z and recently I’ve been having problems with it. It takes so long to start, and it will only start once it play with the gas peddle. Once it starts, the TCS and slip signs turn on. What should I do? Is this a fuel pump problem or something else?

The car starting while you're messing with the accelerator pedal is probably coincidental. If the car is difficult to start and once running displays the TCS light, the problem is likely a sensor. As Mic recommends, get the code before doing anything else.

I’m sorry, I’m so new to cars. How do I get the code?

You need an OBD (On Board Diagnostic) scan tool (a repair shop will have this). You connect this to your car's ODB port and capture a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code).

Mic, go pedal your grammatical advice elsewhere. This is the internet!

This is a technical forum, not a chat room. Spelling, punctuation and grammar make technical questions and answers much easier to understand.

Mic- you keep on pedaling your spelling advice on this board. Let's keep it at the sixth grade grammatical level at a minimum!
