Default just noticed my z is missing something

i have no wheel lock key! I bought the car 3 months ago and i've been driving around ever since without one. I've even been on a 1200 mile and a 700 mile road trip without it. This is obviously something the dealership should have given me, but i bought the car in colorado. Do i go try and get one from the local dealer here in texas or do i call the dealership that i bought the car from to get it?

Contact the dealership you got the car from. Wheel locks are dealer provided equipment so the place you got the car is your best bet to get the key. If they don't have the key for your locks, I don't know how you go about getting a replacement key, but most wheel shops can remove them for you. They just chisel 'em off. It ain't pretty and it's usually about $25/wheel.

That's because your wheels have no locks hence you need no key! If you want locks for your wheels, go out and buy some then you'll have a key! Sorry if that sounds sarcastic, I really didn't mean it to sound that way.

it is possible to buy a mechanics wheel lock set that has 5 or 6 of the most common wheel locks. i believe its a special order though.

Check in the large compartment behind the passenger seat, mine was in a small velcro pouch the size of the wheel lock.

what type of lock is it, the one with the grooves outside or inside? if the grooves are outside, just get a socket that's a little smaller in size and hammer it in, then you can just take it out (you would need to buy one socket for each wheel though, since you will mess the socket when you hammer them against the lock).
No, i don't steal cars for a living, just had to remove a wheel lock from friend who happened to lose them as well.
Now, if the grooves are on the inside and the outside of the bolt is completely round, then i have no clue.

Of course, you can always try first asking the dealership for the key.

Wheel locks do not come with the car from the factory. Either the dealer put them on, or the last owner (if used). Since you bought the car from the dealer, I'd try to make it their issue to provide the key, or get the locks off for you. Wonder if you can get the work done in Tx and they can charge back to Co?

check around; maybe they tucked it away somewhere in the spare tire well; or the glove compartment; look in the "secret" compartment under the glovebox as well(lift the floor of the glovebox)

if all these fail; and your certain there are wheel locks on your car(as in looking at the lugs) go to the dealer and complain. though theyll probably just say you lost it...
