Hit 1200 on the way home from the airport yesterday, I thought I was still in the little jet. I was very pleasantly suprised at the pull. The problem is that I keep running out of road before I can get out of third. I must get this thing somewhere to really let it go. I had heard speculation that it wouldn't pull as hard as my Z32 TT, but it definitely does not dissappoint. The only difference is that the 350 pulls all the time so the only time you feel the really hard boost is when you take off from a stop, whereas, with the z32, I could pull up next to someone, depress the clutch and get the boost up, pop the clutch and damn near lose my lunch. I'm loving this new thing. It also sounds even better over 400 rpms.

 

Sweet, that's good to hear. Life after a twin turbo v6 will not be so hard for you, it sounds.

 

Damn!!!! I wanna hear the engine above 4,000 RPM! I can start to hear the sweet note of the engine + exhaust at 3,400 RPM and I know it's only getting better.

But I have 350 more miles to go!!!

I had (still have) my 1.8T audi A4 chipped. You can really feel the boost after 3krpm - because of the chip. I love the low end torque on the Z though.

Ive got 500 miles and have tacked 6+ a few times. Its just so hard to stay out of it!

 

Sounds to me like some people need to neglect the board for a while and get behind the friggin wheel!

 

Just 340 miles to go... but where oh where to go play.. prob the race track....

Those who're still not there....it's worth it. My level of enjoying the car was doubled in the last couple of days. I'm still keeping it under 6K, but the exhaust at 4K+ sounds so sweet. And at 5K you can hear the intake. It's a concert....the thrombone(or whatever that thing is called) of the exhaust and the trumpet of the intake. And it is true, I'm running out of road by third. Traffic lights are always fun.

 

I'm almost at the 4000 mile mark on my Z...you guys are going to love the growl above 4k rpms. I was concerned about the sound of the car until I wound it out...above 4k is where things get really fun.
