Default Just want to introduce myself

I just bought an 03 350z Daytona Blue enthusiast today. It's replacing my modded 97 Audi A4 which was totalled by an 18 wheeler 3 weeks ago. The mod bug bit me hard a long time ago and I doubt I'll stop now. I've already been looking for mods and I've settled on a Katzkin leather kit with blue suede inserts as the first. Also planning to install a carputer (I had a mini-itx system w/ a xenarc touchscreen in my a4 and I was able to salvage it.

Anyways... just saying hello!

Sorry to hear about your A4, I always like those. Now you can start modding all over again, welcome to the club.

What exactly happened to your A4. I know you said it was an 18 wheeler but I was wondering what exactly happened.

I was in the left lane and an 18 wheeler decided to change lanes from the middle to the left not realizing (or not caring) I was there. There was a concrete barrier on my left w/ no shoulder so there was nowhere for me to go... so I slammed on my horn and stood on the brakes but he kept coming. The rear wheels of the trailer basically ripped up the whole side of my car from the back to the front... ending with my bumper ripping off and flying over my car. I walked away w/o a scratch though... but it was sad to see my baby destroyed like that.

WOW...sorry to hear that. That must have been terrible not being able to do anything. At least you can probably salvage a buncha parts from it...Hopefully.

yeah, thankfully a lot of parts were already off the car. I had put on my winter wheels (well if you could call 17's w/ worn S03's winter wheels - winter tires were eventually going on them) the weekend before for a dyno day. Plus I had the bumper/front lip off to be repainted, custom fogs off the car, etc. But any money I get from selling the mods is going to replenish my bank account after buying the Z. I think I'm going to go a bit milder on the mods this time around... which means no FI :-/
