Default Now I understand

Reading the posts from those who got their car before me, I kept wondering what was wrong with some of you. Worrying over what to touch when you close the door, washing the car in the rain, constantly worrying...

Now I get it. Got my car last week, and it has taken over my life. I come up with reasons to go out and drive. Everywhere I go is like a mini-car show. I was at a meeting yesterday, and when I left, there were 6 Asian guys checking out the car. They told me they were auto parts suppliers, and had supplied some of the stuff for the Z. I let them look at the car (not drive it), and they were very grateful.

But I just wanted to say that I now fully understand the obsession. I washed my car at 6:30 this morning because I drove it in the rain yesterday, and I knew it would be sunny. Gotta look good.

And here I am hardly able to wait for the day when I join the ranks of you obsessive freaks! lol

(I was the same way with my VR-4. Even at 8 years old, the car was PERFECT inside and out. hehe)

Default Talkin about wierd car washings..

I was out driving my car & it started raining.. I got home & pulled into the garage & got out the car wash towels. I could not believe it myself that I was out in the garage washing my car while it was raining. Of course I had something else that I was gonna be driving while it was raining.

Before I go to church, I get out there probably at least 45 minutes to an hour before I leave to clean her up..

I am on constant display, people give me a conscious about driving my own car when it is dirty..

There has not been 1 day since I got the car that I have not had a microfiber towel in my hand...most of the time with a bottle of Zaino Z-6 just looking for that stray pollen particle, water spot or anything that is not sparkling. It's just ridiculous!

I've even taken to carrying around a small microfiber towel to just open the door! Also, I find that by pulling down the metal loop in the inside middle of the back hatch is a great way to close it so as not to get any finger prints on the hatch.

I hope all those drivers out there who are constantly staring appreciate the service I do for them each and every day.

Obsessed and luvin' it!

Mother Nature and I are having a test of wills.

Did you lower the car? Nice ride! Please let me know how's the ride with the 20s? This is kind of off topic, but I can't decide what size rims to get!

Rain. It's a song by Madonna. Great song. I love it. Rain has also fallen on my car. But then it turned to snow. I had it less than a week, and now I look forward to spring. Please forward your rain to me. It would be a welcome change.

I agree that the wet look is great. Unfortunately it dries and looks dirty. Don't like that at all.

I've ordered my Zaino, and now am waiting as patiently for that as I waited for the Z.

Nope, I didn't lower the car at all, just slapped the 20's on there & been rollin ever since the day after she came home from the delivery room.. Its a little bouncier, but I read in a couple of other posts that most other 350Z owners are fellin' a little bounce also..
