I live in chicago and parking is dangerous. EVERY car on my block has dings and dents in the bumpers from idiots who don't know how to park, or just don't care. Just this yesterday, I came back from the gym and saw this taxi cab bumped my car, left it touching my front bumper. I was steaming freakin pissed.

As far as not having a garage, it's not that big of a deal. Just park under a tree for shade to protect from the sun. And wash and wax more often.

Clear bras help a lot too. Use valet and park in parking garages when you can. It costs more, but beats having dents and damage all over.

I agree parking in Chit-town or in the NYC area is dangerous I lived in both and hated it. Space is a commodity their and you can tell every morning I had some car 3 inches from my bumper.

I don't know if you've seen this commercial but...

This guy walks out to his car and it's this ratty old POS with spray paint all over it and stuff....then he goes over and pulls it up and it's a cover over his new car. Toyota or Honda or sumtin. Anyways, you should get one of those so ppl think you have an old POS car and they won't bother tryin to steal your rims.

I made sure to find an appartment in my area that had reserved carports. I don't seem to have problems unless some visitor ******* parks his car in the vacant spot next to mine (in which case I call the guard and have it towed).

I'm not worried about cars hitting mine then again I shouldnt speak too soon eh?

main thing is I keep my car super clean.

to the guy saying to buy a townhouse/condo welp I would love to do that however in this area townhouses/condos with garages are not cheap. a townhouse with garage starts out at 250K if you're lucky. a lot of them are in the mid 300s.

Being a 21 year old buying my first house I'm not trying to spend $350K

ohwell something will come up sooner or later.. I hope....

i keep my sb z super clean as well. i am at an apt at college...good thing is, no one really parks on my side. so no dings there. i keep the car cover on often as well.

also i have a motion activated light that shines a somewhat annoying, blinding light at my car at night to those who venture near :-) .

i wouldnt really recommend parking under a tree around hear due to sap and birds...

I also don't recommend a clear bra for ppl who parrallel park often. ppl bumping your front bumper to squeeze into a spot will jack up your clear bra.

How can I enough cash? becuause I work full time. =)~

If I buy a townhouses with a unfinished basement I could park my bike down there and make a little bike shop =)

I'm also looking into buying a house with a tiny bit of land yet enough land that I can build a garage on it =)

as far as the piano track I'd have to hear it I can't rember what song that is.
is it a full song or demo? hmmmm

my car has only spent 1 night of its life in a garage ever. at my apartment complex in school my friend and i have just managed to keep at least a spot on each side of us (we part next to each other) so we avoid door dings. and we park away from the trees so they dont drop leaves and sap and acorns and stuff on our cars.

it's not so bad to park outside. don't sell your Z for that reason!

Ahh, be careful.. Someone stole my CD deck and speaker boxes out of my truck in the barracks parking lot, when I was in the Marine Corps. The MPs did nothing about it...
