Question your thoughts

I currenctly have a base 03 Z, and thinking of trading for an 05 enthusiast. I should have gotten it from the start, but I realize that I want the HID's, and cruise control. Does it seem like a stupid idea to trade? I posted a while back about trading for a subaru, but I realize how much I like this car, but wish I had the extras. Just wondering if it would be a bad idea.

Thanks

Depends on what you get for your 03 trade. You are probably looking at 29-30k for the 05 enth. Dealer will probably offer 19-20k for
your 03 base if its in top condition. Pretty big hit.

Well, it's certainly going to cost you. Since your '03 is two years old, you're trading it in just after it's suffered its' greatest depreciation period. I understand wanting the cruise control, but I can't see trading in your '03 for just to get HIDs. I CAN see trading in your '03 for an '05 if you're having feathering issues though. The cost of trading will more than makeup for having to replace tires every 15K miles.

Personally, if your car is problem free, I'd hold onto it and invest in a HID upgrade. It will cost you far less in the long run, and you'll get half of the options you're looking to trade up for.

My $0.02 worth. Good luck

the dealer offered what I owe on my car, and I have had my front tires replaced because of feathering. that was another thing, hoping they have gotten the bugs worked out.
