Does the Lancer Evolution 8 have a better resale value and the 350Z. I was thinking of trading in my 350z for a Evo and the salesman told me that the Evo has a better resale value than the 350z. I thought he was bluffing. Is he right. The reason I was trying to trade in my 350Z was because I needed more room + performance. I glad I have my 350Z. Even though it has been crashed 2x (1st-hit and run while my car was parked on the side of the road/2nd-my fault).

 

 

Why don't you check the Kelly Blue book value? It is normally a pretty good estimator.

 

The Z is listed by MSN.Autos as being one of the top 10 cars for holding it's value. I don't recall seeing the Evo on the list.

BTW, the EVO IX is coming out in a matter of months, and that's not going to help the resale value of an EVO VIII. EVO IX looks better and has more power.

 

The Z was rated as the best sportscar for holding it's value by either Motor Trend or Road and Track. I forget which one, but you can check their websites.
