Resale Value, Looks promising.
I was reading an article today about resale values on all types of vehicles.
350Z Roadster held 46% resale value after 5 years.
Coupe was at 44%
Most were in the 30% range.
Other notables were the Mustang at 30%.
There was only one other car that beat the Roadster and it was a
Mercedes Model. Kia had a 19% resale value, LOL!
Thought I would share this, still trying to find the website where I read this.

Nice to know, but I don't have any plans of every selling or trading. I've got close to half my purchase price put into it for other things. I'd never get out of it what I got in it (grin). This thing is a keeper for sure. I'd like to have 2!!!

Value after 5 years
Are they estimating the value of the roadster after 5 years? The roadster has only been out 2 years so the statment "350Z Roadster held 46% resale value after 5 years" needs to be reworded.

Just sold my Z
I loved my Zeta, but it was time to upgrade, so I order a C6 Vette. I tried selling the Z in newspaper (Austin) and on Autotrader.com for 3 weeks. Got 2 calls from newspaper and zero calls from Autotrader. Paid 39K new and now with 15000 mi and Excellent condition, I was asking below blue Book...$32K. So during a trip down to Nissan dealer I bought her from, sales manager said they would give me $29000 ($1200 OVER KBB trade-in) and then send the voucher to my Chevy dealer to use as a trade-in so I save another $2000 in sales tax. Pretty good deal, I think. I think if I had waited longer, I could have sold her for @ $31K, but would lose out on the tax deal.

i doubt you will be able to trade your Z in for 44% of its price in 5 years but thats still very good. I am guessing when my Z is 4 years I will be able to get about 12k or so on a trade in... I have a feeling that once the value of the 03's and 04's gets in the low teens they won't drop very fast after that if they are good in shape.

The Roadster will keep a higher resale value then the coupe. Thats pretty much a no brainer. But figure in 5 years your car if driven the average 15k miles a year will have 75k miles on it. I would expect for a touring model you could get around $16k - $18k for it. The less miles you have on it, the higher the price would go...
