"Nissan was here testing the 370z today....and boy is it a huge improvement over the 350z. Lines are very pleasing (4" shorter and 1" wider does wonders) and the interior is awesome....something I never thought I'd say about a Z."
"Wow...great pics. Amazingly, the new 370Z looks good to me...there's a lot more that I like about it versus the current Z. Nice post, thanks for sharing!"
"Wow! Looking very promising! thumbsup.gif Hopefully, it'll be more fun to drive than the last generation."
"Looks very promising indeed. "
"Agreed. Everything about this car looks awesome, and then they slap on some hideous Maxima lights"
"Wow, it looks a lot better than the 350 - still not sure about the roof, but I actually like the lights. I guess the spoiler is standard now?"
"love it."
"Im digging it"
"yes, they just asked that I didn't take pictures of the interior. They did let me get in the car though and really check it out...and man....I am IMPRESSED. I did not like the first generation Z at all, and hated the interior, but this one is very well done. Just think Nissan GT-R + Infiniti M + the spaciousness of a Corvette hatchback."
and one more......
"you's blind, dog. It's MUCH nicer than the POS 350 "

The only reason they like the 370Z is because they absolutely despise the 350Z, so they'll say anything to bash on it. Seeing as how the 370Z does not compete against the S2000, they don't have much negative things to say about it.
From another site: jalopnik.com. I could do this all night.
"If it's accurate, it looks way better than the 350Z."
"I really liked the Z when it came out. It had classic lines, was RWD and had a decent motor. I'll damned if it didn't get "old" quickly, though. Maybe it was just the fact that everybody had one, I don't know. What I do know is this car will be popular in 15-20 years time. Future classic in the 240z sense, I'm thinking."
"Looks like a futuristic 240z widebody. I was a little hesitant about the headlight treatment when I first saw it, but in these shots it works well. As the Woz would say "It is AWESOME."
"Nice. I would have liked a little more retro styling on the front of the car. "
"This could be very nice. Can't tell much from the one picture but it looks sharper and less jellybeany"
"those hips don't lie... about trying to look porsche. "
"Holy crap I want one of these."
"looks good... should be a good car as long as they keep the price down..."
"I'd rock it. "
"Looks pretty good. I bet it will be better looking than the G37. Those rear windows look nice. I like that they ditched the bathtub look for the sides."

Wonder what trim level it is, Im assuming Track model or whatever higher trim designation they are bringing out for 2009. I doubt they would be offering those Rays on the entry lvl 370's. Anyways its looking pretty good to me.

wow i had alot of problems with the rear chunkiness but in these pics it really doesnt look that bad
and the above comments may be right. i think its the black colorway that makes the Z look better. The silver color kinda accentuates the chunkiness. not too shabby

After seeing these shots I'm thoroughly convinced that the person who shot
the 370 pictures in Europe took them from the worst angles of the car. The pictures here make the 370 look much better - especially the roofline and lights.
Anyone else think the new Z would look wicked with quad-pipe exhaust?
(See attachment - I PS'd an example.)
(First time post - I joined 'cause this seemed to be the best place for 370Z info.)
