370z too similar to the 350z
Is it just me or does the 370 look too similar to the 350? I currently have a 350z and i really wanted to get the 370 or should i say i was really interested in it, but now that the photos have been released i have decided that i won't think twice about buying this car. The change was too subtle, just like the way the G35 compares to the G37, unless you are into cars like most of us on here, it would be hard to tell the difference between the two if they passed by on the streets! The change i was looking for was more on the drastic side, im talking about 300zx-350z drastic! I guess its the 2010 Camaro SS for me.

Whatever. People are never pleased! If it looks too different, they whine that it looks awkard and why did they have to change from the last look! It was working!!
If it look to close to the tried and tested formula, they still whine.
The 370Z looks GREAT in picture and in person. Long live the Z.

Hey at least the newbie had the f u cking ballz to say it.. IM 100% With you on the new Z is concerned, but the G37 i would have to disagree
I've said this in other threads. To me, the car should either look like an evolved 350 just as the 240, 260, and 280 all were incremental steps of the same design or it should look like something entirely different from the 350. But this time around, Nissan has tried to blend the current Z with the original Z. Some people like this, some people don't. Personally I don't. The Elton John headlights and cartoon front end are an entirely different matter.
I'm going to wait for the next generation Z if there will ever be one. Not sure how much bigger an engine they can put into a car that's now been made smaller. So to me this means the next Z will have to be totally new by necessity. In the meantime, I will drive my 350 and save my coin. Who knows, maybe by the time I'm ready to buy another car I will have enough to step up to something like the R8 or 911 Turbo.

As a huge muscle car fan, and current owner of an S197 Mustang GT, I had a huge decision to make with some pretty sweet cars coming to the market. My father used to own a 350z, so I understand the capability of these Z cars.
After much analyzing, I was set on a Camaro SS. However, with the arrival of the new Z, I felt that it was an overall, better performing car than anything on the market. The Z is lightweight, nimble, and fast. In my opinion, it has a higher quality interior, and I like how small the Z looks. The Z can handle and it can run well in a straight line.
I really don't see the Camaro lasting. In fact, I think it will be the car to finally bankrupt GM.
I'm just ranting here, but I thought I would chime in.
