Default Any Insight On When Dealers Will Be Getting Shipments?

Just curious to see if anyone knows any new as far as when the dealerships will be getting in shipments of 370z's. If anyone that works at Nissan knows, please spill the beans for us; the wait is so agonizing!

I spoke to 4 different dealers yesterday. I have a 2004 Z leased and that lease is up on 1-10-2009 so I am looking to replace it with the 370Z. Each dealer said that I know probably as much or more than they do. I am in Kentucky, they told me that coastal cities would be the first to get them on their lots. Each of their guesses were about the same. For me here in Kentucky, around the end of January.

For those who are impatient, just pick up a copy of Need for Speed and you can drive the 370. If that's not your cup of tea, then may I suggest a copy of the Pixar movie, "Cars". Lots of cartoonish looking vehicles to drool over where the frontend not only looks like a mouth but actually talks!

The order status for the one we're getting says "ETA MONTH OF 1/09".

Nissan has a history of saying a car will be out say 1/9/10 etc, but nine times out of ten the dealers recieve 1 or 2 a week or two prior to that ETA date.

Someone just posted this pic in another thread: So it's safe to say they are in cali already - just don't know where...

I saw that EXACT truck shipment last night in Phoenix AZ on the I-10 at around 1:00 a.m ish

From that pic it looks like it came from cali TO arizona.. I was about to take a pic but my iPhone has an inferior camera so I decided not to waste my time.

I can tell you right now that those Z's are not in cali.. I specifically remember seeing the yellow on the bottom as the first Z and then the red on top with the white sticky/tape on the cars.

What's even more telling is that the pic above with all the 370s on the truck has a NISSAN Altima and a Maxima on the road right beside it! Nissan rocks!

It's already the 16th of December, wouldn't you think at this point it's a pretty safe bet to ask the dealer manager when they will get it on their lot? I would like to think they should know that by now.....

You could probably ask them a week after they receive a few in and they still wouldn't know when they are getting any.

Your location says WI, but you sound like you've been talking to my local dealer in TX!
