I have been thinking about getting 350Z for a couple of years but just kept waiting.
I knew the 370Z was coming. As soon as I saw the pictures for the 370Z, I went to the dealer to pick up a 2008 Touring. So to answer your question, no regrets.

No regrets.

What's funny, is that most of the people here say we're "hating" on the better car.

This confuses me.

if id be able to go back to the time i bought my 08 hr knowing everything i know now about the 370z, i would still buy my hr. i used to hate 350z's before early 2007 when a friend of mine got his hr. i seriously hated them. like every other 350z hater, i thought they were ****** cars. the hr motor is what really sold me. not the styling. i know the 370z has an hr too, a much better and more powerful hr, but the styling of the car hasn't and wont grow on me for a really long time. it took about 5 years for me to like the 350z. no hate towards the 370z from me. i realize its a much better performer then my current 350z but i guess ill just have to live with what i got

I have no remorse. I had a 03 it got totalled, so I bought a 07. Even if I had totalled my Z and the 370's were on the way out I would just get a 08 as I do not fancy the look of the 370 nearly as much as I do the 350. I dont think the fact that I have a HR has any effect on me not liking the 370... that makes no sense to me?

I don't regret it at all. I can see the 370 having tranny issues's already...... With that fancy rev matching.... The car is cool but not cool enough for me to want to sell mine and move up to get that.... Whooptie it has a .2 displacement and is lighter and newer...

I think the 370z is kinda ugly. So I would'nt have bought it anyway.

I own a 07 with 4600 miles. I have no regrets, I still get a smile every time I get in the car. While I like the interior and from some angles the exterior of the 370, I am very happy that I bought my z 16 months ago.

No regrets here. Bought my car in march of 07 and have enjoyed every mile. The couple of things I really like on the 370 is the already rolled wider fenders and the interior but other than that I love my car in every other aspect.

It still puts a smile on my face when I gaze at it from across the parking lot. I love the unique shape and sexy lines. It really stands out amidst the boring, everyday commuter cars (maybe because I park so far away from everyone else and because a two-seater is somewhat impractical).

Is the 370 a better performer? Sure. But aesthetically, I'll take my 350 over the 370 anyday. So, 9000 miles later, I have no regrets whatsoever about my purchase.

no regrets here either even I got my so 350z base for 28,000(12,000miles) out the door..love my solar orange more and more I look at it..350z side profile still looks better especially the 07-08 w/hood buldge..but I like the 370z rear much better..wider..also the improved handling and interior and they finally got rid of the nasty rear signals at the bottom of the bumper...for now I am keeping my z and modding until it is paid off.

+1

As it states in my sig I'm not sure where I'm going to go with my Z. I've got 5th gear grind issues etc. Considering moving to a Base Vette and building that or a Lotus as my next car instead of the new Z.
