HR Owners..Regret?

There's a difference between going retro and keeping the same design philosophy. The Corvette is a great example of this if you go from the C4 to C6. Even going from the C3, they all had the long hood short deck design but the C4 is where you can see the most continuous trend.

I bought my 07 in April of 07. While i admit there are some really nice interior features of the 370, I don't regret not waiting at all. The power increase was not enough to make me jealous. However, if it were the difference between the old m3 and the new m3, yes i'd regret it.

I agree. "going back" referring to the overall basic design. Not trying to replicate like Ford and Chevy are doing. Actually I wouldn't mind if Nissan did that in some sort of commemorative Z. They did have a 240Z factory restoration program going on. . Also, I would love in Chevy made a retro Grand Sport Vette. And Shelby a AC Cobra.

I actually think the retro'd Mustang looks worse than the model before it. But A LOT of people bought it. The new Camaro looks way better than the previous model. The Charger is OK. But like you said, the 370Z doesn't truly go all out "retro" but the classic design is definitely there.
