HR Owners..Regret?
I bought the 350z because I wanted it- not because I've loved Z-cars, I don't think past Z cars are anything special and I'm not a fan of the 370z as some have read in my posts past- I'm not one of those "z for life" people. I just like the 350z plain and simple, the only thing that pains me is that Daytona Blue wasn't available when I could afford the 350 in 2007.... you guys in the states scored it for 07 only I believe... very jealous in that department.
As for trade-ins I'm liking the new Z4... maybe the M if money is on hand... but I doubt I'll see myself in the 370- it's just not enough 'more' over the 350 in my opinion.

lol...idk..i dont have a HR but so i wouldnt know how it would feel to know that you spent the same amount of money on a car that doesnt perform as well as 09..but hey..some people buy cars for straight up looks...as for me im more of a "all go" type of dude...no interest in making my car pretty..atleast for now that is..
The only way I would buy a 07-08 over the new 370z if the 07-08 was around 20k and the new 370z was around 34k....Damn they are! I think I'll just wait till they lower their prices on the 370z or can get a good used one. It would actually take another 12k just to get to the level of the 370z. EG( supsension, power, brakes and wheels) Based off of the 07 enthusiast and the 09 w/ sport package.
this is for all you HR owners...give me your honest answer...i notice that alot of the "hating"..idk if i should use that word but to me its the most suitable...anyways..alot of the "hating" of the 370 is comming from HR owners..if you could do it all over again..would you change your purchase?370Z or stick with you relatively new HR?

To me, the two worst times to purchase a car are the last model year and the first model year. You just know that the last model year has a few mods just to get a few more buyers in the door before the next model year will come out with major improvements. And the first model year will have a few bugs before the 2nd year, even with the major improvements. When I know a major revision is coming I hold out until the new model is out, then I make the decision.
In a word no.My reasoning is a little complex.First of all i have a nismo which i wouldn't trade for a 370...or any other japanese car(nothing wrong with them at all). It's just time, for me to go back to American muscle. The nismo was a gift, got it 02/01/08 and i have to say it's the only z that i like the looks of but there still is something missing. If i trade it for anything it will be a c6 or a gt500 but if i don't sell it,i will still drive it till the wheels fall off.It only has 3900 miles on it,mint an a 07.

How on earth did you get such a nice car as a "gift"? I remember seeing photos of the Nismo and didn't like it then I saw one in person on the street and I was like "wow"! Nice looking car. A real head turner, has quite a presence.
