haha more and more people on these forums sound like a bunch of 13 year olds..

The design is more modern, and Nissan had to do otherwise the 350 would have started showing it's age..which it does in the very first post of this thread..

Look at it this way..when the RX8 first came out not everyone liked its robo-cop look, it was too busy.. It replaced the rx7's subtle and sleek design. But now if you ask someone which they prefer, almost everyone says the RX8 looks hot..

same goes for the 370, some of you retards can sit here and nut hug the 350 all you want, but the fact is that the 370z >>>>> 350z

Some of you guys ***** too much but its your dime. I can't see wasting your time hating instead praising. We could have been like the Mazda Rx-8 that hasn't had a decent upgrade in 6 years that worth anything yeah it handles and shifts smooth but so does a Honda Civic or Chevy Cobalt.

Now on the other hand the Z33 has been making slight improvements through out its life cycle from the 03, 04 Roadster and problem solving, 05 problems solved, 06 upgrade engine and interior a little & Nisimo, 07-08 HR engine slight interior 5.2-5.1 0-60 times and now the 370Z better transmisson and clucht, 99gs salom, 4.7-4.8 0-60 seconds and interior upgrade and in my opinion another looker. I want one maybe two.

The Honda S2000 & Rx-8 use to laugh at us until the Nisimo in auto cross not on a track, the GT Mustang use to slow down and roar it's V8 on the straight until the HRs, now with the 370Z they all back down and bow there head in shame almost like a Cayman Porsche (the Zs not the Icon the 911 is yet) pulling up. Only the big boys want to play. I ain't hating we could still have 232hp and need to rev 9k rpms and happy about it bc thats all we have.

We are on another Level now, playing in the NFL instead arena football!!

 

Prefer 370Z ... didn't realize it until I see this side-by-side comparison. But anyway the looks 350z is dated, they pretty much have to change it.

 

Still ugly. I've never had a car "grow" on me. IMO, people lower than standards, but call it "growing on me."

The front bumper of the 370Z makes it looks mentally retarded. The headlights they stole from the Maxima are still ugly on both cars. The rear end looks like its *** is sagging. Why are the 370Z and Nissan badges not on the rear decklid, but below on the bumper? Why is the 3rd brakelight where it is? Looks too cluttered. Not to mention that weird third fog light between the exhaust with the cheesy bumper that contours the pipes (looks like a toy).

Nothing much needs to be said about the side profile other than LOL!

It's just like the Bangle 7-series. It still doesn't look good. The E60 M5 still doesn't look as good as the E39 M5. The GTR's front end still looks strange in colors other than black, but at least the rear an rear 3/4 profile of the GTR looks good. Enzo still doesn't look as nice as the F40, etc...It's clear to the eye which car is newer, but the manufacturers are trying to hard to make something look newer rather than better.

I think the color of my '03 350Z (LS) has kept it from looking too dated. A lot of people still think it's brand new and it somehow still starts conversations 6 years later, LOL!

Edit: The RX8 is still ugly. My friend had one (before he wrapped it around a tree). The interior is very nice, I'll give you that, but the exterior was not good looking. The 3rd gen RX7 is still a very beautiful car on the exterior. Interior is what makes it looks so dated.

 

Naw, the front end of the 350z looks dated when compared to the front of the 370z. And the 370 Z looks a lot more aggressive. From the side comparison, it's not even close which one holds more presence.

on another note, i saw a red one (AT) at a local dealership. i was fairly impressed. the 370 is sexier than the '50, IMO. but i also think, at the same time, the '50 is better looking. the only thing attracting me to the 370 is the high quality (or so it seems) interior and gauges. the extra .20L doesn't really appeal to me. and the head/tail lights are "over designed," i think. not to say that i don't like it. i like it fine. but what nissan should've done was either made the 350 AWD or FI. now that, would've been something.

That picture of the yellow 370 aint a real 370. Its a drawing. Of course its gonna look hot. It has to appeal to people.. Personaly I like that san marino 350 the best.. The middle thing on the rear bumper of the 370 is a light. In the JDM ones the peice isn't smoke out and is actually functional. The 370 stock looks like *** on the outside.. But mod the exterior and its sick.. The interior of the 370 kills a 350.. Why hasn't anyone mentioned that?? I personally love the sleeker smoother look of a 350. More or less the 07-08 because I like the hood alot more. I don't like that curvy and over bumpy kinda look the 370 has. It's not my style. I would love the interior of it tho. I like my 350 alot more and wouldn't trade it in for a 370. I like my HR and I plan on turboing it eventually. So theres really no point. Everyone has their tastes in cars. It's w.e. Unless your tracking the car. The 350 looks lower and wider.. So w.e. People go on looks unless its being raced. The 350 can look like *** when modded. It's the same crap for both cars. I say 350 ftw. But thats me. So w.e Enjoy your damn car.

 

But, but, real life shots of the 370Z looks great too. It even looks better in person. The 350Z looks lower and wider? You can't see those bulging muscular fender flares on the 370Z that makes the 350Z look wimpy?

 

Drawing looks like an exact match of what the 370z side profile would look like. You mentioned that the 350 is lower and wider, not true, 370z looks lower and a hell of a lot fatter in the rear, like if someone was shoving it fatty cakes non stop until that *** was enormous. Let me give you an example from another forum that portrays this greatly...
