The guys who are racing the Vett in American Lemans series first thing they did was to rip out the leap spring and replaced them with proper coil and shocks. Seriously, I think GM should have the Vet come with proper anti roll bar and coilovers. All that will cost a few grands more.

I have owned both multi-gen Zs and multi-gen Vette's. Both cars offer a different kinds of fun. They really should NEVER be put in the same category for comparison. (Shame on Nissan for doing so). With that said, this year I'm trading the Z for a Z06! The 370 is not impressive at all. I like the 350Z much better....

I had an 06 Z and recently traded it in for a used 2006 C6 vette with only 14K miles. I drove the 370z and it felt good but with this economy i couldn't justify spending 40k on a topped out Z with only 330hp which is what i would get and have it depreciate so fast. I had a 05 C6 b4 and decided to get back into a vette which gets powere easily from bolt ons..the power and torque in any rpm is unbelievable and with this economy it's a great time to buy a used car due to the fact that they have depreciated already and they are even cheaper due to the economy..my vette is all topped out 3LT with nav..brand new it would be in between 55-60k..and i got it used for 33.45K . the car is very flat in the turns and feels very wide.and the interior is not as bad as people make it out to be..the c5 was terrible but the c6 is far better...the fit and finish and materials are much better than my 06 Z i had.but the 370z interior though is definately better than the c6..but in a sports car that is not my #1 concern which is acceleration and second outside appearance. i'm getting it slightly lowered today with the the stock bolts.
