Would you really buy a pontiac just because it's cheap with full knowledge the brand is going to be discontinued? GXP is ok (performance is great) but the brand is history and the car would be worth next to nothing after a couple of years...

No way would i trade my 350z for that ugly car. The back looks like it got cut off. The lights are not to appealing. The only thing i like about it is the interior. I would trade the mostly plastic interior of the 350z for the 370z interior but other than that love the 350z and looks way better then the "upgrade"

i wish they offered the new 370z with a traditional 6mt, this synchrorev technology isn't for the purist and takes the fun out of driving.
with 350'z huge aftermarket choices, it is probably wiser to stick with the 350z. although turbo kits are already out for the 370z.
i'm still getting used to the v-shaped tail lights, i would rather buy a used 350z and mod it. just my 2cent.

Definitely not, at least for now. I have about $8500 left on my '05 350z, which I will have owned four years this June. I think the new Nismo 370Z is pure sex, but having just purchased a home last year, I am more looking forward to having no car payments for quite some time and modding the 350 when I can. If I didn't love my car so much, I'd probably think about getting rid of it and saving for a Nismo 370Z. In reality though, I don't think the 370z is a big enough jump in looks and/or performance to warrant purchasing one.

Hi everyone, Most of you probably don't know me, as I was one of the original preorder 350z guys (Vin 915) and very active for a while here, but 4 years ago I traded my highly modded Z for a C6. I just spent the weekend at Zdayz as a sponsor, and checked out the 370 in person, and I'm thinking that within the week I will own one. I got bored with the 350 after 3 years (1.5 years was previously the longest I owned a car), so I bought the C6. It too is highly modified, but until I saw the 370 and got the same feelings I had when I first saw the 350 concept at the detroit auto show, there was nothing on the market that made me want something new.
I'm not getting rid of the vette, just adding the Z to our stable of the C6, Z4 and Tahoe.
The only bad thing is the Z won't be in the garage, but an outside car. Base with sport package, black with burnt orange accents (wheel lips, calipers and some other stuff), plus tint and tinted tails and side markers for now.

I own a 2008 350z and I really like the new 370z. I bought an '06 z near the end of '06 not knowing the new HR engine would be coming out the following January. So I kinda felt screwed so I bought the '08 in march of last year. As I was leaving the dealership another salesman told me that the 370 would be out next year. I told him I'll be keeping my 350 because how fast new cars depreciate. So I felt like I would have waited if I would have known the 370 would be coming out the following year. But I just I came to the conclusion that no matter what there is always going to be improvements made to the z or any other sports car. I love the 350z and hope to enjoy it for a long time. Maybe after a few more years of paying it off I will trade it in for a newer z.

Just got my new 370 Z two days ago.
I had already driven a few at events, and had a friends for a weekend.
I love this car and am glad I have it.
The handling is just unbelievable I think compared to the old ones.
I plan on tracking it once it gets broken in...
Anyone thinking of getting one DO IT you will not be disappointed.

I agree with you both, the 370Z interior has better materials than the 350 employs but the arrangement of instruments is as much a cocaphany as the overall exterior design. I test drove the 370 and found the inclusion of an oil temperature gauge pretty weird. I also thought it was stupid to dedicate one of the three upper dash instruments to be a clock!
