The *Correct* Weight of the Base 2009 370z 6spd.
#21
Thanks for posting, but like others said - the weight is measured with all fluids topped up, including petrol. That is at least how I remmeber it.
Still, given the numbers you've provided, it indicates that the weight that the mags are returning looks about right. ie. about as heavy as the last of 350Zs, and a feir bit heavier than the original 350Z.

Good to know they kept the weight the same.
That is AMAZING considering all the hefty cars out there.
Look ath the new 3950lbs Camaro.
The new Evo MR is HEFTY as all get out s well.
The new crash standards for this year are really whats killing the weight on cars.
Goes to show how much lighter materials and such were actually used.
Can't wait to get mine, my G is a TANK compared to it

Am I skipping over articles about these in car mags? Am I the only one not on the NHTSA distro list?
All I could find on their website is this:
Statement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration On Implementation of Five-Star Federal Safety Rating Program
NHTSA has decided to postpone implementation of the Department's new 5-star Government safety rating program for one year to begin with Model Year 2011

Wow, you want a gold star? If you don't give a **** as you claim, why bother posting garbage in the 370 section? Go fanbois in the 350 section.

This is a mute debate becasue No stock 350Z does 4.6 0-60 and better overall handling Stock everyway you slice the 370Z is a better sports car then the 350Z. Dusting a N/A Cayman heads up.
I love my 350Z but numbers don't lie.
