I've only been pulled over for no front plate. I hate running a front plate on my cars. On the 350z - the center mount makes it look like Pikachu with a big ole front tooth.

Never got ticketed, but willing to take the chance. Its not a moving violation so whats $100 every so often. Its been two years and hasn't cost me yet.

Red face Let off with warning

Got pulled over Friday, but not because the car is a cop magnet, but because I passed grandpa's Camry going 40 in a 55 -- across a double yellow line. Hey, I could see plenty of distance to make that move! Anyway, I'd seen the green Jeep Grand Cherokee a couple cars back with the lightbar. Around here, we have lots of volunteer firemen with lightbars. The green Jeep just didn't say "cop" to me. Damned if it wasn't a Dept. of Environmental Conservation officer! Turns out, even a game warden will pull you over if you pass on a double yellow. He asked me why I made such a boneheaded move and I told him honestly. He told me to be more patient, drive safely, and let me off. <whew!>

Yeah I've owned a 350Z since I was 23. I'm 27 now and only got pulled over once and it was my own fault as I was speeding so I deserved it. I got pulled over more when I had my corolla with the body kit and rims, etc etc. I think it has to do with what you drive and how you drive it. I also owned a GTI for a few months and got pulled over more times than the entire time I've owned a Z. Things that make you go "hmm..."

I just finished break in period so I've been driving at moderate speeds on freeways, but i got pulled over for no plates. Was awaiting them in the mail. Cop tries telling me "I won't give you a citation today." I asked him "How would i get a citation when my registration is posted in the front window and I have no plates." He replies "well try to get them as soon as possible and call your dealer." Ummm...out of my control dude...just have to wait. I'm a chick, not a retard. He just wanted to check out the car.

Other day I was driving 65-70 on highway and highway patrol pulls up to my left and drives along side for a good minute or two.

Getting a ticket will be inevitable I'm afraid. lol

You're probably a HOT chick in a hot sports car. Yep, you're gonna get pulled over, regularly.
