Am I the only one who thinks the 370Z looks much better than the 350?
And just to spite you:
i hope i dont get crucified for what i am about to say....
i have a silver 2008 350Z, and i am thinking seriously about either buying a new 370Z or perhaps a Lotus Elise. my gut feeling is the only performance area the Elise does better than the 370Z is that it sticks to the road better.
but it seems that the Elise is considered more of a Exotic type car, and it would probably get the attention of the ladies more so than a 370Z would. and, quite frankly, that is one of the considerations i have here. the Elise is more of a head turner with the gals, if you know what i mean.

the elise ain't shiet to me really or any car guy unless we're at a track or on cruise....
ladies....again really... but to stoop to your level. The nismo z well always get the good "WTF
istake that with what ever consideration...
For the price ranges there are probably other choices ..
my fave of current is lexus lf-a .. seems to be out next year .. v10, 550hp, mid-engine .. google or try http://tinyurl.com/l8x6yh ..
'classic' look w/ deep design cuts while maintaining a refined, smooth appearance, but about double the sc elise. notice no gaudy bulbous fenders, or unnecessary creases on roof. high intakes behind doors for mid-engine cooling, deep scooping for rear braking. I prefer narrow headlights, matches my spectacles, you see. just functional, and some art nouveau-ish curves in the hood styling, and interior dash area's horizontal step layering. chiseled effect of hood and pyramidal exhaust trio has that exagerrated brutalist use of primitives, but blended into a soft elegance immediately after front wheel area. you could wear a $30,000 suit and the car would welcome it, even require it ( your attire should never cost more than your auto; ) surely 'your girls' would appreciate a relatively unlimited fashion envelope.
I can't see a 1.8L in US long distance scenarios though, reg or sc .. you'd have to try it, see if you can enjoy the brahms, or the synths of zeroOne, with that little 4 cyl. revving into 5 digits regularly.

I hate to say it but 370 z is not good to look at. I find myself make excuses for it. At some angles it looks good.... but can't match a nicely hooked up 350 z in looks. Same opinion holds for the g35 vs g37 coupe. 2003-2004 6MT will be the classic...everything else forgettable.
Just give it 2-3 more years and everyone on here is going to want a 370z. Performace wiseI doubt it should dissapoint anyone(stock for stock of course). It's lighter, shorter, wider and has a more upscale and "future" look to it which was risky on nissan's part.
I feel like they nailed it tho, it might just take some time for people to digest mainly because the 350z was such a big hit in every aspect. Believe me the 350z will be outdated once you see more modded 370z with wheels and coilovers in person.
If i ever get one i would get a red one and put limo tints, black out the fangs, black out that butthole so it looks like some diffuser, and some nice black wheels with coilovers.

In all honesty, I was never a fan of the 03-05 hood/lights/bumper/etc. I really liked the HR hood and the HID's and all those goodies, it makes the car look a lot newer. The 370Z however, does look nice, but I'm not a huge fan. The shorter hatchback and the way it's designed in the rear make it look, a little heavy. The 350Z looks, idk more sporty cause it's thinner and the body appears lower. Maybe I'm seeing ****, but look in the picture below, the rear half the 370Z looks very .... heavy and the hatch is reallllly noticeable, I'm not a fan of that. The front bumper does look a little ehh as well. 370Z looks much better inside lol.
The 370Z was a nice try. Not really new but different enough to be given a new model number. There's been all sorts of arguments and counter-arguments both pro and con. That's why I sum it up as a nice try. Nissan has made their investment and will need to recoup some before they try again (better luck next time). I'm waiting to see what the next genuinely new Z will be (if there ever is another). The 370 is a baby step away from the 350 (and not exactly a solid step at that). So I will keep my DB 350Z until it's really worth upgrading.
BTW, nice DB Z in the pic.

Im very impressed with the interior redesign.. its much better than the 350Z.. the exterior redesign is not as big of a change, but my 370Z touring looks more sporty than the 350Z i had..
I just wish Nissan would've made all the gauge clusters the same, the one that sits in the middle looks weird and overdone.
By the way, heres a pic of my blue 370Z u can compare against the blue 350Z below

I used to be the one who despite the 370z new styling. But it grew on me and totally converted me. I don't care much for the front nor the rear. But the side profile is just totally more sexy and refined than the 350Z.
Of course, I love my 350z still. But I want a 370z as well.
