What's your thoughts on the 370z?
As a proud owner of a 2007 350ZR, and mutual fan of the 350Z coupes, I am not feeling the look of the 370Z. Having owned a 240Z back in the 70s, I don't care for the return to the past look. The headlights and tail-lights, remove the cars power look and give it a toy look.
Just wondering if I am the only person with this feeling?
Contemplating, the Porche Boxster as a replacement for my 2007 Z.

Contemplating, the Porche Boxster as a replacement for my 2007 Z.BUT I would take a 370Z over a boxster any day!! I've never looked twice at a Boxster
Having owned a 05 and 07 (HR) 350Zs, I can say from personal experience that the 370 is much better and even better is my Nismo 370Z #0067. I am having a ball with it. Will be at the dyno tomorrow and at autocross on Sunday. Cannot wait.
No, the 370Z is still in BS as of the 2009 stock classification list. But it could be bumped to AS for 2010 because the driver who won BS for last month's event beat all the RX-8's on race comps by a full second on a completely stock 370Z with sport package

I live in Japan where they actually make 370Zs (smile). So mine doesn't have all that Catalytic Converter crap, etc. I just don't like the lines of the 370 because it looks like 240Z from the 70's. Looks is the only thing I do not like.
O.K.! Everyone....I understand your comments about the Boxster S, but most of you own a coupe and I have a roadster. The 370zr has not hit the street here so I cannot make a comparison for that reason. If I had to pick a coupe I would probably take the upper level Audi TT. And by the way....my 350z cost $50,000 in Japan. Its all leather, Bose Surround system, Convertible, soft-comp tires, Alloy rims, etc. And you are talking to a guy that owned several different Zs over a 25 year period.
The jury is still out on the 370 with me. I'm still partial to the body lines of the 350, as I think Nissan took to many styling points from the 911. Don't get me wrong the 370 is a nice car, I just don't know if I would buy one.
