+ 370z vs bolted 350z HR +
I have a 370z, I would like to trade it for one of you guys older models bc of the better performance. I know my post count is low, but based on searching, I have found that the older version of the car is a little faster. I raced one.. and you guys were right. Just pm me if you want to trade.

And what did that car cost in the early-to-mid-90's? Wasn't it around $35-45k then, which by todays standards, would probably put it closer to $45-55k, if not more? So yes, the performance was better, but that comparison is about as plausible as comparing the RX-7 and RX-8. Same line of vehicle, but built in different times for different purposes. Same thing for the 300zx and the 350z. They built the Z on a stable N/A platform that was affordable to the mass public. There is a reason the Japanese supercars of the 90's like the RX-7, Supra, 300zx, and 3000GT VR-4 died off really haven't returned and affordable mid-range performance cars like the S2k, 350z, and others took their places.

This thread is stupid. The funniest part is us Revup guys are looking at you all like why. The DE vs HR conversation shouldn't ever come up. The HR kills the DE. Drop the 1/4 mile times. Look at the power numbers. Why does it take a DE a full engine build to make the same power numbers as a HR? look at dyno plots. The HR's make much more power at a higher rpm also. For what the 350Z was built for is exactly what makes it superior to the DE. The Revup vs HR should be the real topic.
