Default Roadster wet seatbelt

The passenger seat belt on my 2014 convertible is wet as it comes out of the retractor. I know this problem has been mentioned by others in previous threads but they didn’t appear to define a solution or fix. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Do you have a tear in the top or wind noise with glass up on that side? You may need a window relearn found on YT. In the meantime pull the belt out as far as possible and clip in place to dry.
Observe the pass glass and door card next time you're out in wet weather. Check your front and back carpet also as mold and rust aren't your friends. Gl!

thank you for response. Car only has 11k miles and is usually only driven with top down, It does however sit outside in warm weather months and is covered with nice car cover during colder months. No tears or wind noise based on initial inspection but I’ll investigate further as weather permits. I’ll definitely dry out seatbelt as you define. Seat, door panel and normal exposed portion of seatbelt are dry. Just what’s hidden by panels is wet when seat belt is pulled out. I know others have had similar issues with either or both sides and hoping there is a simple solution available.

Perhaps. I've been lucky, DIY top replacement and window motors too, no leaks. Is the top OEM?
When it happens again post up pics before you wipe it down, it should be watertight.
Meanwhile cut some copy paper into 1' strips, insert 1 in each front and back ( top of window) then 1 at the rear.
Pull strips from the outside, you should feel resistance. GL!
