Unhappy water leak! (seatbelt) HELP!

Using my friend's 04 Roadster. (is it important at this point if he knows or not?) left it outside in the rain overnight. (for the record, i had the roof and windows up and doors locked.) driver's SEAT BELT was soaked by morning! (passenger side dry.) the part that gets rolled up is the wettest, not the part you see hanging (exposed) when you're not in the car. in fact, gets wetter every time you let it retract. any ideas? anyone experience this before? can't take to nissan dealer (not my car) but i have to do something. apparently, car has never been in rain before. only has 2,400 miles on it (at least it did when i *borrowed* it). please help me! friendship (and my life) on the line!! ps: anyone know how to turn back the odometer? (j/k)

I have the same exact issue with my roadster! Every time it rains the driver's seat belt is soaking wet when I get it in. The Top has been replaced and readjusted 6 times since installed. I got my car used but the top is under warranty as well as any other repairs. To finish this all off, I brought my car in august and here we are in December and the car has to go in for a 3rd time. They have had my car 1 month each time it goes in and now they have had my car just as long as I have had it. 2 months on and 2 months off. I am also really tweeked because the gas door doesn't open properly. Again, another warranty issue that is still not fixed. Any info guys on both issues so these yahoo's can do their job right! Thanks in advance and I love my Z. Just don't want her to rust away like my old Datsun Z did 8 (

Yeah Man, I need answers and haven't had any luck. Not even in some of the European forums. Haven't seen any legit answers to this systemic issue which at the very least I have found that my roadster is not the only one with the "wet seat belt" issue.

Incomplete window seal due either to window or seal position/tear.
