GTR transmission failure!
MORE INFO BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION!
not sure how credible the source is, and the source asked to remain anonymous, but i will share with everyone and see if anyone can verify.
"The gtr's event data recorder only has the space to record 83 hours of history, at that point it starts recording over itself, so that would mean that if you leave your car on for 83 hours it will record over all your previous history."

Wow, shame on Nissan for this garbage. We've waited this long for the vehicle and now this is how they deal with it... absolute rubbish! Its an enthusiast vehicle with out doubt, how do they expect it to not be modified... I think at this point my monies will go to the ZO6...

I guess the key part about the warranty starts at 6:00...

Eventually Nissan is going to have to man up and fix the broken transmissions. Signed disclaimer or not, failure to do so is only going to make the GTR a bigger laughing stock and ward off future buyers.
Is this for real? I am looking for a new car for my graduation present and the GTR is on the bottom of my list - the last option. After watching this video, I guess I'm gonna cross it out. I am not a GTR fan and this just gives me another reason to stay away from it~~
I thought the GT-R was for real and if this is true this will be the beginning and the end of this car. You cannot have a car that will blow the tranny using a factory design within such a short time and not warranty it. These cars will be on ebay for cheap in the next few years. They made it sound like with the launch control off it will do 0-60 in about 4.5. Forget it!!
How much does it being in first year production have to do with these trannys breaking? I would figure that nissans would make these trans stronger if they're breaking as easy as this video makes it seem...

It's the present that I will buy for myself as a reward, I never have my parent bought me a car, not even for my first car. I have been paying for my own car since I started driving.
So, please don't think that I'm a spoiled kid, yeah?
Nissan knows what the stakes are, especially in public relations with the GTR.
They will probably replace transmissions, rewrite the warranty rules, and improve the LC reliability. Those who destroy their new cars will probably have to go to
some class given by Nissan on how to properly race the car,to be eligible for
any future Warranty...:lol
Quite frankly the LC use frenzy ,caught Nissan off guard. Now they will probably
have a newly design robust LC, in the works.....
