Forged Performance: Matte Black GT-R
Today one of our previous customers came in from some upgrade and maintenance work on his daily driven GT-R. Late last year, we installed a CBRD Y-Pipe and Cobb AP so Sharif could work his magic on the dyno. In the interim, the car has seen a handful of weekend track days and endured the rigors of 21K street miles. This GT-R has been superbly repainted in a menacing matte black finish. By far, this is the nicest matte black finish I've seen on any car.
After measuring the OEM rotors, we were right at the service limit, so we are installing a set of AP Racing J-Hook Rotors, and dual purpose Endless MX72 Brake pads along with GFB Blow off valves. I have a feeling this car will be back very shortly.

I thought the paint was very interesting!
I love seeing GT-R's that are really driven instead of just sitting in the garage.

That car looks the closest to mine that I think I've seen. (sorry about the Iphone pics)
It's tough to tell in the pictures but does it look more black at certain angles and lighting more like this,
I'm really curious about the paint used PM if possible.

Yeah some people do wraps.
Honestly I have no idea, I have a friend that had his Evo painted matte black and he said they used a matte/clear finish.
Wow! That is awesome. Good to hear people really driving these cars.
We used to have them bigger but I started making them smaller for people with slow intranetz
