Today one of our previous customers came in from some upgrade and maintenance work on his daily driven GT-R. Late last year, we installed a CBRD Y-Pipe and Cobb AP so Sharif could work his magic on the dyno. In the interim, the car has seen a handful of weekend track days and endured the rigors of 21K street miles. This GT-R has been superbly repainted in a menacing matte black finish. By far, this is the nicest matte black finish I've seen on any car.

After measuring the OEM rotors, we were right at the service limit, so we are installing a set of AP Racing J-Hook Rotors, and dual purpose Endless MX72 Brake pads along with GFB Blow off valves. I have a feeling this car will be back very shortly.

I've seen an overlay on a Porsche that replicates the look. It's kind of like a full body clear/frosted bra.

Our dealership has a guy who brings his GTR in frequently. He's somewhere north of 50k miles now. I'm happy to see another GTR owner who drives his car!

That is pretty cool, especially when you get tired of the look. This GT-Rs paint has more sheen or shine than the average matte paint. Almost like a satin finish.

Honestly I have no idea, I have a friend that had his Evo painted matte black and he said they used a matte/clear finish.

We used to have them bigger but I started making them smaller for people with slow intranetz
