Yes, it's worth it. It's been on my Z for almost a year without a nick in my paint job (although I did get a pretty nasty little nick in the clear bra itself a week after I had it put on).

Hope this helps.

If you have a show car, don't do it. If you plan to actually drive the thing, then it's a must!

I have a clear bra but the product is Llumar. Just like 3M and it works great. Well worth the investment.

If I'm not mistaken, does the clear bra show a line across the hood?

Also what does something like that cost?

May I ask what the clear bra cost?

I will probably do it when my PPW shows up. I haven't had time to get a price yet.

No offense guys, but utilize the Search function, there are hours upon hours of reading about this.

Clear Bra's range from $299-1000. Be careful, some dont know WTF they are doing. So do your homework first before choosing an installer. Talk is Cheap!

I had to hunt around before I was able to find someone who could do it. I wanted the entire front (including the headlights) and the side mirrors. I found one place just 25 miles away that wanted $950, and another place 180 miles away that wanted $500. The $950 place had never done a Z, the other place had done a half-dozen or so. My wife and I planned a weekend getaway and took the 150 mile ride. We had a great time and they did a great job.

I have a brand new X-pel front bumper clear bra still in the box. Never had a chance to have it installed. Now I have a Veilside V3 bumper and am trying to locate someone tha will do a custom job for me.

I think they are well worth the money if you use the car as a daily driver.

I have the clearbra, love it. Unfortunately, I put it to the test My Z took a shot from a rock at 80mph that shot out from under a 18wheeler as i passed on the interstate).

This link should have a very high rez pic at the bottom, you'll have to scroll a bit to see the damage, it cracked the bumper but not a scratch on the surface.

The line going straight down is the seam in the clearbra from installation. The line going down at 45 degree angle is the crack from the impact(sounded like something had exploded in the cabin when it hit). The clearbra seemed to also keep the crack from expanding further during and after the impact.

It hit so hard it knocked the reflector out of position. The front side of the reflector was pushed in towards the center of the car.
I had to pull the reflector back into position to get the crack to close back up. This photo is a few days after the impact and repair. Also, it was raining heavily when this happened and I didn't think the clearbra adhesive would be any good afterwards but it seemed to do fine once everything dried.

I'm in Atlanta, GA. I had my clearbra put on by Stone-X. Phone 678-858-3324. Only place here that I know does custom installs in my area. I'll never own a car(that i care about) that doesn't have it, and I LUV my Z.

I have a full clear bra minus the pieces for the top of the fenders sitting in my room. I already have one installed and when I had to have a dent in one fender repaired the ordered a whole new clearbra for the one piece on top of that fender. If you are interested in purchasing it let me know. PM me an offer....
