Aftermarket NAV systems in the roadster
Any roadster owners install an aftermarket NAV system?
Where did you locate the antenna? Any Pics?
Where is the antenna located on a roadster with factory NAV?
Also....would a GPS signal pass through the roadster's soft top? Could I locate the GPS antenna inside the car?
Thanks.

I installed a Pioneer AVIC-88. I placed the antenna in the stock location under the driver's side dash right up by the windshield. You have to take the driver's side dash apart to get to the compartment for the antenna. I don't seem to have any problems with the signal either. Check out a service manual for diagrams.

I have the Kenwood DDX7015 with the DV4100 or whatever nav system. Antenna is right on my dash, wedged inbetween the glass and the middle part of the dash where the air vents meet up. Perfect place for any antenna.
