The roadsters weigh 257 pounds more than the coupe. Does ne 1 kno where the extra weight is? Or have any good diet plans?

Weight is in the extra reinforcment needed because of the removal of the roof.

Would imagine the extra bracing is underneath the car and the sides (The frame of the car), also you get additional weight from the roof mechanism..

Could save a few extra lbs by ditching the spare tire (shrug)

There are 2 sets of weights...one in front and one in back... for counter balance.

Not sure how much total weight they are...

You can take off the two weights netko mentioned if you want, that should shave 30lbs off, but not sure what that will do for you handling as Im sure thats why the weights were put there.

There is also reinforcement in the front by the door hinge, that is one solid piece of framing to support the A-pillar in the event of a rollover.

Shave weight by replacing OEM parts with aftermarket parts. (Lightweight racing Wheels can save you 50+ lbs easily, replacing clutch/flywheel/exhaust etc are other options but much time consuming. Or put in racing seats, that could save you 30+ lbs per seat)

You could also look into replacing the sway bars with something made of a lighter but stronger material. And a good set of performance coilovers are usually lighter and smaller then stock.
