Default smoked tail lights....

Yo guys...just got my tail lights, rear signal markers, and third brake light smoke out. Sprayed about 5 coats of jdm tint spray and 3 coats of clear. Very satified with the outcome. Gonna paint door handles and black out head light housings and front markers soon. going all black.

Got one problem though...i need brighter bulbs for my tail lights. currently using the oem bulbs. they're bright at night but during the daytime(especially in the sun) brake lights are not that visible. I've tried one type of l.e.d. bulbs but they were even dimmer than the factory bulbs. tried some hyper white piaa's 24/8w bulbs but couldn't get any better results. before i go and waste my money on some more bulbs, does anyone here know which type of bulbs would be best for smoked out lights? L.e.d. or the regular filament bulbs...as long as they will shine brighter than the oem's i'm using.

+1 to the comments above. Car needs a drop as well... hopefully you have that in mind for the next step.

BTW, nice house.

don't know what type of bulb to get, but maybe you you can look into the Pearl Black emblems ????...they might look pretty good with your all blacked out look.

Hey, No matter what you do, it won't satisfy the masses.
Do what you like.
I love all the black.
I love having a Z on my ride.
Even if you take the Nissan emblem off, and the Z also, you'll still get feedback about necessary changes.
Quit asking, and start believing in what you like.
I love what you did. It is dark and sexy.
Good job.
But, what do I know. I'm just a women.

Hey, your opinion counts just has much as any male on here. But once i black everything out, all the emblems are coming off. Not doing it because of feedbacks on here. It was my plan from the getgo. Front, sides, back...it'll be total darkness. Your taste is similar to mines and it's alllll good!

Default not a great idea

You are right to seek brighter bulbs. The LEDs are probably as bright as they come. The problem is visibility by other drivers- If your fine ride gets tail ended- it's your fault because the lights are now illegal.
