Default ZR vs. Z rear coil springs

The rear springs for the roadsters have different part numbers than the rear springs for the Z coupe. I've yet to see an explanation why. Anybody know? Are they really different?

The rear springs on the ZR might be a tad stiffer because of the added weight (reinforcement and roof mechanism)... Otherwise I'm not sure...

I used the Nismo Suspension (coupe) on my Roadster and haven't had any problems.

Everything I've found has pointed to the springs being the same stiffness (Rear = 342 from 03-04 and 427 from 04.5 on).

My 04 ZR has stock springs and I think it's lower than stock coupe's. Which makes me think that maybe the spring length is different?

It could be there just the same but since there for different model cars they give them different numbers, even tho there the same...

Otherwise the Coupe Nismo Suspension Kit I got wouldn't of lowered my car..

You will have no problems with your sways. I imagine springs will be fine too

From my understanding the springs are the same but the roadster sit a tad lower because it weighs about 200 pounds more.

You'll have no problems with either. Even if there was a slight difference between zr and z springs, I doubt you'd notice anyway.

I also want to point out that it's not just the part number that's different. The springs are also marked differently. Which makes no sense at all if they're the same.
