well after being a lurker since early this year I'm finally going to be a proper My350z member.

Should hopefully be picking up my new DB roadster on friday.

2005 track model with only 7000km's on it.

finance just got approved and i can't wipe the smile off my face. I'll post some photos once I pick her up

In Australia we only have 2 versions, track and touring. We also only get the black and burnt orange interiors and black soft top.

The track roadster comes with all the same gear as the track coupe although I don't know if they are the same spec as the track in the US. I know it gets the brembos and VDC etc etc.

In terms of mods the car will be driven for at least 2 hours everyday so don't want to mess with the suspension but a rim change could be on the cards. Maximum 19" staggered rims and certainly no bling chrome. I'll tint the windows as summer is coming up and maybe shave the logo at the back. Apart from that I love the shape of the car so I don't want to change much.

Performance wise I have just come out of a 350HP MR2 turbo which was an absolute money pit so I think I'll probably just stick to the basics like intake and exhaust because I want to keep it reliable. Although I'm sure I'll get bored and want to change more

As far as the interior goes I personally really like the interior although some people think it's bland but that's just personal preference. I wouldn't give up a butt warmer and electric seats for any kind of racing seat.

I've attached photos, hopefully they should work

less than 24 hours now. doubt I'll sleep much tonight.

Have an all day meeting tomorrow before heading to the dealership. Do you think I'll be concentrating?

I don't think so

thanks guys, picked it up last night and drove 12 hours back from Sydney to Melbourne. Had an absolute blast though.

Turns out it's an 06 not an 05. The dealership stuffed up. Practically a new car with only 5000miles on it.

Beautiful sunshine. emptied the tank 4 times already
