Seat automatically goes forward...
Hi guys, I'm from australia and I have a 350Z roadster.. Wheneva I close or open the top, the passenger seat moves slightly forward automatically before it begins to open the top (I assume this is to avoid the top touching the passengers head whilst folding)... I was just wandering, is there anyway to stop this auto moving the seat by cutting a wire or something?? It's useless and the top has never been in the way of passengers etc... This will also decrease opening and closing times...

Seat
Its designed to do that. If you watch the top when its moving you will see that it almost hits right there. They designed it to move to move a passengers head forward so no chance of the top hitting them. I haven't looked in my manual yet but I seen to remember my 04 manual station that. Anyway, nothing is wrong with the car.
