Really? Yes I have lots of pictures. Most "classic car" owners love the theme we developed. We get a lot of attention at the shows. People ask to take pictures by it. Two out of the last 4 shows we attended we received a trophy for best graphics or best paint so I don't think it looks like a toy out of a cereal box. There is always someone who will not like it. Who cares. We have fun with it and that is all that counts.

It is going in for major modifications over the next 6 months. We are hoping it will be complete for the late spring and summer shows.

ah ok, yeah, they won't like graphics and all of that. Most of them are into cleaner looking cars. I know where they are coming from since i have friends who sound just like how you described. Yeah, as long as you are happy with your car, that's all that matters. But just fyi, getting a lot of attention and people taking pictures can be a bad thing as well. And carshows are usually what it is, carshow. The more junk you put on the car, the more the points will add up. If you put crazy , idiot stuff, it will still add to the "show" points. Only trophies from hot import nights i would count. I haven't seen your car, but i would like too.

Zprincess, I have seen the pictures of your car, the graphic is awsome. Looks like a theme car though. Don't let one idiot bother you, just do what you like, add aligator top if you like....it's your car.

And, well, are these still the same "Classic auto" shows that people pull bone stock cars straight off the showroom floors and win "best of show"?

I know you are intelligent and can read. I know you read 15 seconds in my earlier post. I don't understand where you are coming from. It seems you are on some type of agenda here. Slow as it or may not of been it was faster than yours that day as you didn't run. That why you have all those videos.

Good luck and God bless.

Sorry but you just went over the line with that one... If you want to see my street tire time slip then look on the top 25 drag times:

https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840-top-25-1-4-mile-times-for-tt-st-supercharger-nitrous-bolt-ons-stock.html

I'm not a professional drag racer by any stretch of the imagination, but at least I've got time slips to prove my car is much faster than a stock Z (unlike yours).

Maybe you should stop bragging on these forums about "how fast your car is on a track" and actually get out there and do it. All I see here are ricer promises and imaginary bench racing of what you think your car "could" do.

That being said, I'd suggest you stop there before your ego gets bruised any more than it already is.

I've gotten some pretty crappy remarks from domestic guys. Along the lines of my workmeister s1's being "rice" and my silly little "4 cylinder" not being capable of anything. But I chose to take the mature route...instead of saying anything back, I waited till I left and put on a little show OK, I'm immature...so what. haha.

Craig you're such an ***.

OP: Don't let a domestic comment get to you. Although I don't think anyone has ever said anything putting down my car to my face, even if they did, just laugh it off and forget it. Who cares. The day you take others' advice, will be the day others pay you to do so.

No matter what “group” you are a part of, I think you have to pay your dues. I began drag racing several years ago. I race against 11.0 second cars that cost $100,000. As time went by, the other racers warmed up. My “dues” where showing up and racing every weekend.

So true. We've learned as we have participated and received respect as we have improved. There are many cars faster than ours and many cars prettier than ours. We are happy with what we have. We are always trying to improve.

Thanks for all the support and nice comments.

If you are tall, you will fit in a Z better.
not to mention that you get an inch more headroom in the roadster

I hear you the car is basically the same, same engine, it just has a back seat and the z does not.
