Default Mounting a spoiler on a ZR?

Anyone mount their own spoiler? How do I get that plastic piece off so I can drill my holes?

I had mine professionally installed but they had to drill holes through the plastic. They are hidden once the cover is on so it wasn't a big deal.

Any way you can take your cover off and take a picture for me?

That would have to be a pretty big hole. It would have to be big enough for the nut and socket.

How much did they charge you?

The holes don't look aftermarket actually. Just like any other holes on the plastic.

Now you see them:

Now you don't:

They charged me $250 for painting & install.

I saw an OEM spoiler on a roadster at the dealer and it looked good. The front of it though had some spacing along the edge but otherwise looked flush. I think the curve on the roadster trunk bends a little more than the coupe.

As far as I know, roadsters do not come with a spoiler from the factory. It must've been dealer installed. If it had some space on the edge, that's not good. More chance to loosen after time. I would want it completely flush. But, that's just me.
